Priyanka Chand

Priyanka Chand joined the Freedom Fund in September 2024 as the Monitoring and Research Officer based in the London Office.

Priyanka has over three years of experience in conducting qualitative and mixed-methods research, impact evaluations, and policy analysis. She has worked on several research and evaluation projects for national and international development organisations, primarily in Nepal, working on a range of thematic areas such as gender and social inequalities, education, gender-based violence, rural development, livelihoods, and climate resilience. With a strong background in international development, Priyanka is committed to using research to inform policy and improve social programs, particularly in the areas of human rights.

Priyanka holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology-anthropology from the American University of Beirut and a master’s degree in anthropology and development from the London School of Economics.
