Founded in 1973, Opportunities Industrialization Centers – Ethiopia (OIC-E) was established to combat the growing unemployment among women and youth in Ethiopia.
Today, OIC-E is a pioneer in implementing skills development, job creation, and integrated support programs for both refugees and host communities. OIC-E currently operates two project sites in Addis Ababa.
OIC-E is dedicated to creating sustainable, inclusive opportunities for vulnerable groups, including children, women, youth, refugees, returnees, displaced persons, and low-income families. Their mission is to improve the life chances of individuals by enhancing their resilience and improving their livelihoods.
