The Freedom Fund is seeking proposals from civil society organizations to contribute to the Brazilian Amazon Hotspot Program, in the states of Pará and Amazonas. The selected organization is expected to operate as a funding mechanism for projects developed and managed directly by local groups, through a community fund aimed at increasing the resilience of the communities where the Freedom Fund operates. The fund will aim to strengthen local initiatives that promote community leadership in the defense of rights, improvement of quality of life and promotion of sustainable income sources based on sociobiodiversity.

The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of the Freedom Fund’s investments in Nigeria. They will be based in Lagos, Nigeria and report to a Senior Program Manager based in London, UK. The position’s main responsibilities are to ensure Freedom Fund partners design and deliver quality programs, measure their impact, and support research and learning.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced HR generalist to join a leading international anti-slavery organisation. The successful candidate will be leading a London-based HR and Operations team of four staff with high levels of autonomy and the ability to make a visible difference. They will be responsible for designing and delivering an effective HR strategy for the global organisation, as well as overseeing the London-based operations team. The role will report to the Managing Director, Finance and Administration and sit on the Wider Management Team of the organisation.

The Freedom Fund is working with partners based in Bangladesh to provide direct support to those most vulnerable to commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) and to reduce the prevalence of CSEC in brothels and on the streets We are seeking proposals from qualified research consultants or teams to assess progress made toward project objectives, review the effectiveness of project interventions, and generate lessons to inform the remaining project period. The Freedom Fund anticipates this assignment will take up to four months, with planning commencing in December 2024 and final reports due by March 2025.

The Senior Program Manager, Responsible Supply Chains, will be responsible for the strategic development and oversight of the portfolio. They will have overall responsibility for all aspects of program development, planning, budgeting, grant-making, monitoring and reporting. The Senior Program Manager will act as a high-level representative for the Freedom Fund in forums and with stakeholders related to Responsible Supply Chains work, and will actively seek out opportunities to grow the profile of the Freedom Fund and its work in these areas.

The successful candidate will be a finance professional with experience of working in an international setting. The post holder will offer broad support across various finance tasks – including in relation to internal financial reporting, donor reporting and financial monitoring of grants to partners.  This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing, highly regarded organisation doing incredible work around the world

We are seeking an IT Officer that will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Freedom Fund’s IT environment – providing technical support on existing and new infrastructure and software; troubleshooting issues and providing internal IT support for system users. The post holder will also advise on updates to the Freedom Fund’s IT and cyber security policies and processes and lead on the project to consolidate IT programs under Microsoft 365.

Reporting to the CEO and working as part of the Freedom Fund’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the successful candidate will play a lead role in ensuring the organisation meets its strategic fundraising target by 2030. The post holder will represent the Freedom Fund globally and lead the Freedom Fund’s engagement with private and government donors. They will also engage with anti-slavery organisations, corporates, policymakers and other relevant actors.
