Beza Posterity Development Organization (BPDO) was established in 2000 with the purpose of combating the impact of HIV/AIDS in the community. At that time, the virus was the leading cause of death for countless children and young adults and there was a lot of stigma and discrimination surrounding social and cultural activities in the operation area.
With the mission of striving to empower communities through need based and sustainable local solutions, BPDO currently aims to support and build the capacity of vulnerable social groups to improve their socio-economic wellbeing, with a particular focus on sexual health and safer migration.
