The Community Resource Center Foundation is widely recognized in Thailand for its work with communities that have been or will be impacted environmentally, socially, and socially by development projects that lack public participation, planning, and effective oversight.

The Community Resource Center Foundation has worked with over 30 communities, with over 1,500 community members working across Thailand and all regions, on a variety of development projects, including lignite mines, gold mines, high-voltage transmission lines, biomass power plants, coal-fired power plants, beach breakwaters, and other polluting and environmentally impacting projects. The Community Resource Center Foundation also works to protect and assist human rights and community rights defenders, and works with communities and international networks to address cross-border rights violations, both from the perspectives of business and human rights, arising from investments by individuals in Thailand and other countries.
