The Dalit Development Forum organizes and empower sMadhesi Dalits and other marginalized communities for leadership development and advocacy on their fundamental rights, increasing their access to public services, government resources, and decision-making spaces.
The Dalit Development Forum:
- Advocates for human rights, social justice, and equality for Dalit and marginalized communities
- Promotes access to government services, social protection, and special rights for disadvantaged groups
- Raises awareness and prevent caste discrimination, untouchability, child marriage, dowry, polygamy, and forced labor
- Supports livelihoods, income generation, quality education, health and WASH for Dalit and marginalized families
- Strengthens coordination with government, civil society, media, and local organizations for collective action.
