Misale Refugees Music and Art Club is a community-based group that was registered as a community organization in March 2023.
Misale’s mission is to combat human trafficking and slavery via the contribution of Ethiopian and African art and music. Misale exist to educate the community by bringing together and empowering returnee artists and vulnerable young artists, supporting their musical and artistic potential through short music and art training, providing short music and art training to survivors and returnees, raising awareness about migration, providing music therapy for youth in temporary shelters, being a voice for survivors, and using art to advocate for human trafficking and related issues to be included in the curriculum.
