Andrew Rizzardi (he/him) joined the Freedom Fund in November 2021 as the Global Communications Manager, based in New York. Andrew was previously worked for Trickle Up, a nonprofit dedicated to ending extreme poverty where he implemented multimedia communications channels and managed print and digital collateral production and outreach projects.
Prior to that, Andrew managed communications and technology at the Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University and provided program support and research for Freedom House.
Andrew holds a master’s degree in international relations and a bachelor’s degree in communications from American University’s School of International Service and School of Communications respectively.
