Charlotte Tate

Program Manager for Responsible Supply Chains

Charlotte Tate joined the Freedom Fund in 2025 as the Program Manager for Responsible Supply Chains, supporting the organisation’s portfolio on forced labour in global supply chains.

Prior to joining the Freedom Fund, Charlotte was the Labor Justice Campaigns Director for Green America, where she ran multiple campaigns to improve working conditions in supply chains. Prior to that, she was the Advocacy Lead for the Coalition to End Forced Labor in the Uyghur Region. While there, she led advocacy efforts to end corporations’ reliance on state-imposed forced labor in the Uyghur Region and expanded civil society support for the Coalition.

Charlotte also previously worked with the International Labor Rights Forum, supporting two international coalitions which focused on addressing forced labor in the seafood industry and ending state-imposed forced labor in Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

Charlotte has a Masters of Arts from American University’s School of International Service and a Bachelors of Arts from Miami University.
