Chloe Cranston joined the Freedom Fund in 2025 as Senior Program Manager for Responsible Supply Chains, managing the organisation’s portfolio on forced labour in global supply chains. Chloe has expertise on strategic advocacy, coalition-building, and business and human rights.
Prior to joining the Freedom Fund, Chloe was the Head of Thematic Advocacy Programmes at Anti-Slavery International, where she oversaw the organisation’s campaigns on business and human rights, international safe migration, climate change and modern slavery, and state-imposed forced labour. Before this role, she was Business and Human Rights Manager, developing the organisation’s campaigns on import controls and mandatory human rights and environmental due diligence, in collaboration with organisations across the world. She also co-founded the Coalition to End Forced Labour in the Uyghur Region, alongside others.
Before that, Chloe worked with International Alert, a global peacebuilding NGO, on conflict-sensitive business practice, working on countries such as Kenya, Myanmar and South Africa, and in the private sector, advising multinational companies on political and social risks in Russia and Central Asia, as well as a stint with the European Union in Moscow, Russia. She speaks German and Russian and elementary Turkish.
