Hannah de Ville is a seasoned international development professional, with over two decades of dedicated service in various INGOs across Africa and Asia. Since September 2017, she has been serving as a Senior Program Manager at the Freedom Fund in London, where she currently oversees critical programs aimed at tackling extreme exploitation in Myanmar, Liberia, and Nigeria.
Before joining the Freedom Fund, Hannah held program management and advisory roles with organisations like Plan International, Mercy Corps, International Alert and Human Rights Watch, amongst others. Her expertise encompasses programme design and management of programs focusing on civil society capacity building, good governance, gender, peacebuilding, and child protection. Hannah’s varied experience reflects her commitment to creating impactful change in some of the world’s most challenging environments.
Hannah has a master’s degree in human security and conflict resolution from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and a bachelor’s degree in international politics from Barnard College at Columbia University.
