James Broom joined the Freedom Fund in 2025 and serves as the Program Finance Officer. Working across all Freedom Fund Hotspots, James works closely with the Program Finance Manager to support program teams in all matters related to finance and compliance.
Having previously worked for The Crown Agents, James worked as a Fund Administrator for the ‘Health Pooled Fund’, a multi-donor program that served to deliver quality health services across South Sudan, working with several implementing partners.
James holds a BEng in computer science from the University of York and is currently studying for qualification in accountancy with AAT.
