Wumi Adegoke joined the Freedom Fund in May 2023 and serves as Operations Officer, to providing support to and working closely with the London based operations team on a range of administrative and operational tasks.
Prior to joining the Freedom Fund, Wumi contributed to the development of the facilitation manual workshops under the Fostering Action and Support for Trafficked Persons project for the Netherlands Red Cross and UK Red Cross in 2022.
Wumi also worked with “The Anti-Slavery Collective Organisation”, creating awareness of modern slavery through their podcast Floodlight produced by HRH Princess Eugenie and Julia de Boinville to raise awareness of modern slavery and explore how we can all help to rid the world of slavery, child labour and domestic servitude.
Wumi is a final year student of BSc psychology at Goldsmiths University UK.
