Please join the Global Peer Learning Group on Child Domestic Work during its next virtual session:
Exploring the role of education in protecting child domestic workers from harm
Tuesday, October 15, 2024
11:00-12:00 pm BST
Among practitioners working on reducing the prevalence of child labour, engaging children in education is uniformly considered to be the key alternative for children in exploitative work situations. When it comes to child domestic work, projects and programmes consistently have education and training opportunities at their heart, both as preventative and protective measures against work which is seen as problematic and exploitative.
During this session, we will explore what kind of education interventions can be most effective in supporting the welfare of child domestic workers.
The event will be hosted on Zoom. To join email us at cdw[email protected].
Please also email us if you require interpretation support by October 7, 2024.
