CIFA is a non-governmental organization founded in Turin in 1980. For over 40 years, CIFA have been working with children and young people from all over the world to build a more inclusive, fair and sustainable society. To encourage young people to partake in leadership roles and to spread youth culture, CIFA collaborates with people, families and communities, carrying out cooperation and educational projects for global citizenship, international adoption paths and family support services.
CIFA works for inclusive development so that migration is a choice and not an obligation and believes that people who wish to or who are forced to migrate to improve their living conditions should have their right to do so within a framework of protection of their rights. CIFA also works alongside those who migrated, those who have returned to their country of origin, those who would like to leave.
