Sarah Mount

Senior Program Manager

Sarah Mount joined the Freedom Fund in 2018 as a Senior Program Manager. Sarah leads our work to address forced labour in seafood supply chains in the Asia Pacific, focusing on strengthening worker power and civil society, improving safe migration and ensuring corporate and government accountability.

Sarah has over 15 years’ experience working to improve labour rights and human rights. Before joining the Freedom Fund, Sarah worked at Anti-Slavery International, leading work to strengthen labour conditions and safe migration in the construction, agriculture, garment and domestic work sectors in Asia. Prior to this Sarah worked in human rights and indigenous land rights in Asia, Africa and Australia.

Sarah holds a masters of public and international law (honours) from the University of Melbourne and a bachelor of laws (honours) and bachelor of arts from Monash University, Australia.
