In April 2020, the Freedom Fund launched a Covid Emergency Response Fund that raised raising over $2m to help mitigate the worst effects of the crisis for the world’s most vulnerable people. The funds supported 196 communities in Brazil, India, Nepal, Thailand, Myanmar and Ethiopia, directly impacting 250,752 lives.
