African Network for the Prevention and Protection Against Child Abuse and Neglect (ANPPCAN-Ethiopia) is a non-political, non-religious, non-profit non-governmental local organization established in 1990.

ANPPCAN-Ethiopia strives towards realizing the wellbeing of children by creating enabling environment for their normal growth and development, provision of psychosocial support for vulnerable children, prevention of child migration and trafficking and rehabilitation of victims, work on sexual reproductive health and take part on community led development programs benefiting children, youth and women.

The major programmatic issues ANPPCAN strives to address include education and early childhood development, child migration and trafficking, child protection, child rearing practices, sexual reproductive health and HIV/AIDS, social and economic development of women, food security, maternal and child health care, water, sanitation and hygiene and disaster prevention and rehabilitation of victims.
