Daniel Newman joined the Freedom Fund in 2023 as the Human Resources Manager. Daniel is an experienced human resources (HR) professional with over 13 years’ of experience working across the public and charity sectors. Daniel previously worked as the Senior HR Manager for the charity School-Home Support and spent eight and a half years working in the HR team at JDRF, a type 1 diabetes medical research charity.
Daniel is very active within the diabetes community and has worked with a number of organisations including Diabetes UK, National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) and NHS England on different projects. Daniel is also a trained Mental Health First Aider.
