Reimi Pieters joined the Freedom Fund in 2022 as the Strategic Partnerships Manager based in London, supporting relationships and collaborations with our funding partners to develop opportunities for programs to end modern slavery. This includes experts from government agencies and research institutions.
Prior to joining the Freedom Fund, Reimi worked for the U.S. Department of State Office to Monitor and Combat the Trafficking in Persons where she oversaw the foreign assistance grant process and managed awards. Her previous experience includes international organisations and non-profits focused on gender violence prevention, human trafficking, and innovative philanthropy.
Reimi has an MSc in international development and humanitarian emergencies from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in government and legal studies from Bowdoin College.
